As much as I like to brag that I changed the blog skin all by myself, this would not be possible w/o "enlightenment" from my 2 lovely cousins over the last weekend ! (thanks so much !!) The rest of the "cosmetic touch-up" took me another 5 hours. Looking at the finished piece of work, a great sense of accomplishment overwhelmed me & I felt so proud of it ! Smart genes run in the family afterall ! ha.ha...
Had a very fulfilling week. Felt so good chanting/meditating at home and catching up on my reading. Was just doing a random count lately and realised there are at least 10 novels and 3 sets of comic books, sitting on my shelves waiting for me to enjoy ! Oh my ...
Last weekend, Guru JingXiang from Japan came to conduct the Acala and 九字真言 Initiation at the S'pore Expo. Before that she was conducting healing sessions for fellow disciples at temple. The session went very smoothly without much hick-ups. No weird spirit or ghost stories to tell unlike the previous healing sessions I volunteered to help. U know, that's the interesting bit. U get to experience different sorts of situation with different gurus around. Like with Guru JingXiang, I will get to see people with all sorts of illness seeking for cure. With Guru LianYing, people will queue up for geomancy advice. Most interestingly for Guru LianHuo, there are bound to be people who are in some sort of demonic possession coming to seek help for exorcism. So, it's not just at work we get to see people from different walks of life and problems ... *tsk*tsk*
I feel really blessed. Coming into this religion makes me look at life at another angle, which I would not be able to see with my sheltered life. I begin to better appreciate myself, my family and people around me.
This is what I call enjoying life and making every day count ! Im so enjoying every moment I hope this will last ~ *bliss*
Ahh ... freedom ... never underestimate the power of freedom !
